Berlin Poster STOP WARS

Black and white poster with an illustration of the "Statistics House" on Alexanderplatz with the lettering "Stop Wars". This graffiti has adorned the empty "Statistics House" on Otto Braun Strasse in Berlin-Mitte since 2017.

The building from 1970 was used in GDR times by the Central Administration for Statistics of the GDR and departments of the Stasi. After reunification, the Federal Statistical Office and the Commissioner for Stasi Records moved into the building. In the meantime, the prefabricated building is being developed into a "place for administration, culture, education, social affairs and living".
