Minimal Munich poster with a view of the Arabellahaus.

The Arabella skyscraper was built from 1966 to 1969. The architect of the house is Toby Schmidbauer. The Munich high-rise was named after the owner's daughter. In the meantime, the owner company Bayerische Hausbau has decided that the building should be demolished as it has reached the end of its life cycle after 50 years of operation.

In the 70s and 80s the Musicland Studios were located in the house. In the 1970s and 1980s bands such as the Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin, Queen, Freddie Mercury, Electric Light Orchestra and Deep Purple recorded albums.

Fun fact: The building contains apartments, offices, a hotel and Munich's highest spa.
