Berlin is colourful and multi-cultural; that’s why we call this motif world recievers. The illustrated building is called the Social Palace and is a block of flats covered in many satellite dishes in Berlin Schöneberg. In 1977 the building was built according to the designs of the architect Jürgen Sawade. Actually, the twelve storey concrete block was planned as a model for modern living. But the reality is different; the Social Palace has become a social hotbed.
