Ruhesitz am Zoo - Berlin eingepackt

“Ruhesitz am Zoo” is the name of a home for elderly people in West-Berlin, located next to Berlin Zoologischer Garten (the former center of West-Berlin). You can see the letters on the facade of the 70s building. We choose the name „Ruhesitz am Zoo“ (in english: rest, pause near to the zoo) for our wrapping paper collection which shows 4 decades of architecture of West-Berlin. The „journey“ starts in the 50s – the time of building and rebuilding the city after the war and ends in the 80s – before the wall came down and East-Berlin was attracting more people than the former center of West-Berlin.
